KK6 Ibnu Sina – Sixth Residential College Universiti Malaya

Kolej Kediaman Ibnu Sina (KK6) is the dedicated residential college for clinical medical students at Universiti Malaya, named after the famous Islamic physician Avicenna (Ibn Sina).

KK6 Ibnu Sina is specifically designated for UM Faculty of Medicine students in their clinical years, ensuring they live in close proximity to the UM Medical Centre (PPUM) and clinical teaching facilities.

The KK6 logo features three tigers surrounding the national Bunga Raya flower, symbolising unity among the three major communities at UM in service to the nation. The college fosters a close-knit medical student community with peer study groups, clinical discussion sessions, and strong academic support networks.

Placement at KK6 is generally restricted to clinical-year medical students. Contact the HEP UM accommodation section to confirm eligibility and application procedures for medical students.

KK6 Ibnu Sina is the heart of UM's medical student residential community, fostering academic excellence and professional bonds among future doctors of Malaysia.
